If you have been playing the new Nazi Zombies map on Cod: WaW, (Verruckt) than you have probably noticed a few things that are different.
First, you have most likely noticed that there is power to be turned on. Second, you have probably learned (much to your gun-packing, zombie slaying glee…) that you can gain four perks in this map that were previously not offered on the first zombie map. Ok, so computers are always changing and evolving, right? Well, perhaps not as much as the accessories are. There have been some pretty unique USB gadgets thought up in the past few years, but a couple of these take the cake for creativity.
Ok, here is one. How about a USB drive that is shaped like a bullet? Yes, like a real life bullet. They are being produced in China, and while you can’t pick up one of these mini-wonders yet, you will surely be able to in the near future. Where? Online! Where else? Some people have suggested that companies give them out with copies of first person shooters… or, for that matter, you could buy them as gifts for any Call of Duty fan. And unlike a real bullet, this one won’t destroy your computer! It will only save your files… which is much more tasteful.
Or, how about this. A USB powered lunch warmer! This takes bringing your lunch to the office to an entire new level. Of all the things that your computer does for you already, it is now warming your food for you! You just better be careful… because how many steps away are we from creating computers that eat the food? And then, how long until they eat us?… a grim sentiment to be sure, but one to contemplate nonetheless…
Or, how about the USB ashtray? It filters the air, gets rid of the ashes, features a cute little chicken hatching from and egg, and best of all… it monitors your smoking habit, and predicts how long it will take for you to die of lung cancer! Maybe not the best way for a smoker to start a Monday, this is for certain… but maybe a lifesaver in the long run?…
